Weeks before the announcement is as good as everything already leaked over the Pixel 3 (XL). What we did not know is that you can charge the new Google smartphones wirelessly with a dock: the Pixel Stand.

That says the usually well-implemented website 9To5Google . They found out that there is a reference to this charger in the Google app. After some detective work, they even came across the animation below. Although this is of course not the real product, we know some details.

The Google Pixel Stand is a wireless charging dock where you place the Pixel in portrait mode. The charger has a round surface and a slight elevation for the surface of the phone. It is therefore unlikely that you should place the phone on a USB cable.

As you load the new Pixel, a slideshow is automatically played with photos, upcoming appointments and weather conditions. You actually change the smartphone into a Google Home with screen. This allows you, for example, to place it in the kitchen to follow the steps of a recipe while cooking.

On October 9 at 5:00 PM Dutch time, the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be officially unveiled. Both phones have leaked frequently in recent weeks, so we have the idea that Google is fooling us.

Furthermore, we probably also get to see new Pixel Buds 2, Google's wireless earbuds. This headset has a lot to make because the first version was not well received. We are also likely to see a Pixelbook 2. Above all, however, we hope that the products will also be officially released in the Netherlands so that we are no longer dependent on gray imports.
