Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + have been leaked, which many of us were waiting for. These are Evleaks renders that reveal the appearance of the new flagships. The source of the leak is checked and we are sure that the graphics are authentic. Let's try to take a closer look at them and see what has really changed in relation to the S8 models.

Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + were finalized for hardware in November. Not long after that, because in December, we could see them on Onleaks renderings . Now the time has come for Evan Blass, who published the first renders of new flagships for the press yesterday. What do they reveal to us?

There are not many changes at the front, but they are certain

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + on the below renderer are presented on the front. At first glance, you can see that nothing really changed in relation to Galaxy S8 models, right? Curved screens with rounded corners, narrow frames. It was all there. Steve Hemmerstoffer, however, decided to compare Evleaks renders with his own CAD schemes.

Samsung Galaxy S9 + has in fact reduced frames relative to S8 +. If you look at the diagram below, you will see that the lower frame on the new phone is a bit narrower. Of course, not much, because it's about 1 millimeter, but always. The screen is virtually unchanged. The same applies to the arrangement of individual elements, such as the speaker, webcam, sensors or iris scanner.

Changes appear from the back of the housing

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + have seen more changes in the back of the housing, which we already know for several weeks. We see that cameras have been redesigned. The following graphics show cameras of a smaller and larger phone model. Changes introduced here overlap with earlier CAD schemes from Onleaks . The fingerprint reader is finally in the place where it should be hit again.

Since we are at the cameras, there are also new information

The Samsung Galaxy S9 with a 5.8 "screen will get a Dual Pixel 12 megapixel camera with OIS and a variable-sized diaphragm f / 1.5-f / 2.4. This is the information that we've seen in the picture of the phone's packaging. Recently, however, on the manufacturer's website, information about the new ISOCELL sensor was discovered, where information about the possibility of recording video in 1080p at 480 fpsappeared . Unfortunately, Evleaks claims that at 480 frames per second movies will be able to record, but in 720p quality. Information about the second lens from Plus remains a mystery, but we know that it does not have a varifocal aperture. The cameras with 8 Mpix sensors will again be on the screens. Interestingly, in another Tweet, Blass added that some animated avatars would appear in selfie mode. Something like Animoji from the iPhone X.

A larger model can be more expensive than S8 +

Samsung Galaxy S9 + will be much more different than its predecessor. Evan Blass has already revealed that the smaller model will also have more RAM than the dual camera. 6 GB instead of 4GB . It turns out, however, that the space for data will also be increased to 128 GB, where the Galaxy S9 with 5.8 "screen will be 64 GB. All this allows us to assume that a larger phone can cost more than S8 +. This would mean that in Poland the price will certainly exceed PLN 4,000. It was similar with the last notebook.

What else did we learn?

Depending on the market, Galaxy S9 will be available with Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810 processors . Of course, in Poland they will be phones from international distribution, so with the second SoC chip. Evan Blass also reminds about stereo speakers. These are to appear at the bottom of the housing. This is a feature that fans of Samsung flagship have to wait for a long time. The new speakers were prepared in cooperation with specialists from the AKG company and probably during the Unpacked conference, the producer will compare their volume to those of the last iPhones.

In stores from March 16

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + will go to stores on March 16 and this date can be seen on the renderings published by Blass. It's Friday, so the date is most likely. The presale is to start at the beginning of March. The Unpacked conference will take place on February 25 and we know that it will be live . Technical data of the new flaggers, which we know from the current leaks, you will find below.
