First OnePlus 6T photo: still no triple camera on the back'

The OnePlus 6T may not have three cameras on the back. A photograph of the unannounced device only shows a double lens.

Also the next flagship of OnePlus has two cameras on the back, according to a photo that WinFuture  has shared. A part of the back of the OnePlus 6T can be seen on this. Sources previously claimed that the 6T would get three cameras behind, but that is not the case.

When comparing with the back of the OnePlus 6 it is striking that especially features seem to be missing. So the fingerprint scanner is no longer behind; it is processed with the 6T in the front screen . The LED flashes also suddenly disappeared without a trace. With some zoom in, however, it appears that the strobes are still there, but are slightly more hidden.

The OnePlus 6T also seems to be slightly larger than its predecessor. According to sources, the device has a 6.4 inch screen, a small upgrade compared to the 6.3 inch display in the OnePlus 6. The front of the 6T is not visible on this picture, but it is assumed that OnePlus notch has reduced to the size of a water drop.

Unveiling on 17 October

The OnePlus 6T offers a slightly larger screen with built-in fingerprint scanner, slightly modified design, but almost the same hardware as its predecessor. The Snapdragon 845 chip in the OnePlus 6 is after all still the most powerful chipset that Qualcomm makes. Now it seems that the cameras of the 6T are unchanged.

We hear more in less than a month. Teasers from OnePlus suggest that the smartphone will be presented on October 17th. Then the 6T is probably for sale from the end of October.
