Philippe Starck showcase Beautiful Design Xiaomi Mi MIX 2

Xiaomi is not the first smartphone manufacturer to launch a smartphone without a bezel. However, thanks to Mi MIX was introduced in 2016 and then, the presence of a smartphone without bezel increasingly favored by the gadget in many countries.

Looking at it, it looks like Xiaomi did not stop to continue to develop Mi MIX. And now they say they are preparing the next generation of Mi MIX. Do not just develop, but Xiaomi smartphone will also be packed with a more attractive design.

Evidently, the manufacturer of the device technology from China is again holding a French designer, Philippe Starck for helping design the smartphone without this bezel. In fact, Philippe through his official Facebook account has released a short video entitled "Mi MIX 2 Conceptual Product Design WIP".

 

In the video duration 39 seconds it was obvious Philippe would like to emphasize that the Mi MIX 2 which he designed actually has a very thin bezel. I was so thin, left, right and top Mi MIX 2 only visible screen in contact with the frame alone. Meanwhile, his chin section is already smaller than the first-generation Mi MIX.

In addition, the edges of the screen was curved like using a glass 2,5D who is currently a trend used by a variety of premium smartphones. Not unlike previous MIX Mi, for this second generation of camera placement is also placed on the chin.

Based on rumors, Mi MIX 2 will be packed with 835 Snapdragon chipset support, 6 GB of RAM, and embedded display has adopted the AMOLED technology. In addition, Xiaomi also reportedly will equip this smartphone with the main camera has a resolution of 19 MP.

For its power supply itself, Mi MIX 2 is expected to be supported with a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh. There are a few who guessed, this smartphone will be released in mid-September 2017 and will be sold at a price of 4,999 yuan, or about Rp10 million.
